SELF TAPPING SCREWS HEXAGON WASHER HEAD FOR COVERSThe self-tapping screws for roofs are indicated for the assembly of structures in the building sector (roofs, prefabricated walls, etc.). The thread with helical cuts along the entire length of the screw promotes screwing on thick plates and load-bearing structures. A slight recess under the head allows to insert a rubber gasket to avoid infiltrations by atmospheric agents.
Compared to the cross recess, the hexagonal head guarantees the possibility of applying a higher tightening torque without the risk of the insert coming out. It is particularly suitable for diameters from 4.8 upwards.
The length of the screw is measured from the tip to the underhead.
