Chipboard screws, also called universal screws, are suitable for direct screwing without drilling into chipboard panels, hard and soft natural woods. Although used for their cheapness in plastic or nylon anchors, they are not specific screws for the latter two materials. The lubrication treatment helps to reduce the friction coefficient during screwing, the 40° thread allows for excellent sealing, while the 22°/26° tip allows the screw to be used even on laminated surfaces without the slightest effort . It should be taken into consideration during the design phase that on short sizes the 22° tip significantly reduces the tightness of the screw, as on lengths such as 12, 16 or 18 the conical part of the thread is almost prevalent compared to the cylindrical part.

Chipboard screws with holes are used in the furniture and fixtures sector where, for aesthetic reasons, it is desired to hide the screw head. The screw is sold in combination with our cap (art.182) and the customer can choose from a wide range of colors in order to visually mask the fastening element as much as possible.
